teen has been kept in the closet for 4 years

A 14-year old boy from Oklahoma escaped from their house and immediately find policemen to asks for help. He told the policemen that he was been abused by his mother. He was kept inside his bedroom closet for 4 1/2 years. The policemen noticed that the boy has numerous scars all over his body. It was said that he was also malnourished. After the  boy was interviewed, the mother, 37-year-old LaRhonda Marie McCall, and a friend, 38-year-old Steve Vern Hamilton were arrested.

Typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) strikes Philippines

Typhoon Ondoy strikes Philippines last september 26. This May be tough time to all filipinos. NCR has been flooded with water and most people got stranded inside and outside of their house. This is surely a disastrous year for us but instead of looking for the down side, we  Filipinos should join hand in hand to help people who are in need by giving donations. And of course, prayers is still the best that we can give.

Google turns 11

Google is one of the most well known search engine in the world wide web. And today Google is celebrating its 11th birthday. Actually they celebrate its birthday either every september 7 or september 27.  But as years passed by, the celebration depends on the way people feel to throw a party for it. Google is such a blessing to us. Happy birthday google!

Ken Morrish, 72, of Colaton Raleigh, Devon is a fruit grower, found this extra ordinary apple while harvesting a few apples to be given to his sister-in-law. He was really amazed and can’t even imagined that the green and red split perfectly. The apple is now being the center of attraction that Mr. Morrish’s Neighbors are queuing up to take pictures of it.

19 pounds baby boy born in Indonesia

Last September 25, 2009, A diabetic mother gave birth to a baby boy that weighs 19.2 pounds (8.7 kilograms) from Indonesia. The baby was born by a cesarean section. The baby’s condition is called macrosomia wherein his weight and size are quite larger than normal,  it is because of the excessive glucose from his mother. The Doctor said that the baby and mother are now in good condition.

Diabetic mothers should be aware that their condition is not to be taken for granted because they have higher risk of complications. Their babies may develop congenital abnormalities. So to avoid this from happening, you should now start in controlling your glucose intake and learn to live a healthy lifestyle.
