Carly Simon is suing Starbucks Corp. because her album was not available in numerous starbucks coffee shop during the important months after it was released. Starbucks Corp. revealed in a statement that they fulfilled all their obligations and there is nothing wrong with it, it was just that people has slow response with the said album.

The Heene’s Family is now in controversy due to the incident happened last thursday when Richard Heene’s 6-year old son, Falcon Heene had floated away using a homemade helium balloon across the Colorado sky. U.S. National Guard helicopters helped in tracking the balloon and to rescue boy. After five hours of searching, Falcon was found alive inside their attic.
CNN’s Larry King Live interviewed Heene’s Family after the incident. When he was asked why he stayed in hiding for so long where others were desperately calling his name. “You guys (his parents) said that, um, we did this for the show.” He said. But his father denied that it was just a stunt.
Is the incident just a hoax or is it real event?
A riot happened at Burlington Coat factory in Ohio Columbus because an Ohio woman announced that she had won lottery and would pay for everyone’s purchases. But then people realized that it was just a fraud. People ended up causing riot. According to Police there were 500 people inside the store and 1,000 people were outside.
Woman was arrested but wasn’t charged for the coat store’s riot. She is now in the process of mental evaluation.
Ralph Lauren, a perfume and clothing line fired one of their models, a 23-year old Filippa Hamilton for being overweight. Yet they [Ralph Lauren] still used her photos for their ads. Hamilton’s photo was obviously photoshopped and started to get worse. Hamilton was really shocked to see her photoshopped photo because she can’t believe that Ralph Lauren can do that. Hamilton 5’10” and 12 pounds is not really overweight, it just that RL was dissatisfied with her body.
Orlando Bloom, one of the hottest celebrities in the world is now named goodwill ambassador for kids. Since 2007, he is supporting the work of UNICEF for delivering clean drinking water, education and shelter to children in Nepal. This is the first time that a twitter account was used in naming streets. One of the Streets in Palestinian specifically near refugee camp is now named @Arjanelfassed tweetstreet. Arjan El Fassed bought it at this website for $140 for a cause. The said fund is to support cultural after-school activities for children in the camp.

In Gaza City, a zoo dyed two donkeys in black and white color. They copy the zebra-like pattern. The zoo workers did it to draw attention to the crowd and to replaced the two zebras that died because of hunger. Because zebras are too expensive to be replaced, they just use donkeys instead and painted it with black and white color.

Boomer, a 180-pound Landseer Newfoundland dog who measures 7 feet from nose to tail. Caryn Weber owner of Boomer, plans to send the measurement of her dog to the Guiness World Records for being the tallest living dog. Great Dane , the previous record holder with the measurement of 4 feet tall passed away last summer.
