A 19-year-old teenager named Jordan S. Christensen from Appleton, Wisconsin fled to Tennessee with his 16-year-old girlfriend using his foster parents’ car without permission. He was sentenced to one year in jail and 3 years’ probation. Judge John Des Jardins ordered that Christensen will need legal permission to date girls for the next 3 years.

free wi-fi access in all Mc Donald's in U.S.

There will be now a free wi-fi access in all Mc Donald’s locations  in U.S .as long as they are offering the service.  The free wi-fi access will begin in mid-January 2010. The service is intended for customers only and will not impose any time restrictions. This may be the largest provider of free wireless services in the country.

home intruder was frightened over woman's medical call

An 89-year-old woman from Knoxville Tennessee reported to police that she was awakened by a loud noise and suddenly a man stood over her bed, shaking her by the arms and asking if she was all right. The man was frightened when the woman activated a medical alert device on her neck and when a monitoring company answered her medical alert call. The man ripped off the device which caused her a slight abrasion and a cut finger. The man immediately vanished taking nothing.

In New Bedford, Massachusetts a man named Stanley Dudek took initiative to return the book “Facts I Ought to Know about the Government of My Country” to New Bedford Public Library which his deceased mother borrowed a century ago dated in year 1910. The said book has a fine of $361.35 but Dudek wasn’t asked to pay it. The library plans to display it in its special collection.

In Perugia, Italy Amanda Knox together with her italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito found guilty by the Italian jury in the horrible murder case of Meredith Kercher, a British exchange student. Amanda Knox was sentenced to 26 years in prison and Raffaele Sollecito was sentenced to 25 years.Knox and Sollecito have been jailed for two years.

A 46-year-old man from Parma, Ohio dressed in Santa tried to kidnap a 12-year-old girl walking to  school. The said man is Anthony Russo who’s from Brook Park. The kidnapping happened when Russo was hiding in bushes in his santa costume and suddenly jumped out at the girl.He tried to get the girl into the bushes but she immediately walked away. The man was arrested on a transit bus.

A man from Mississippi Gulf Coast entered into another couple’s home and fell asleep on their couch accidentally. The couple found a stranger snoozing on their couch and cuddling a teddy bear. The 34-year-old man thought he was at his girlfriend’s place. The man was charged trespassing and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released with a $1000 bond.
