A traveller who arrived from Miami Airport must pay $300 penalty for trying to smuggle sweet potatoes from Bolivia. The sweet potatoes were wrapped by a commercial wrapper of candy. It was found by a official in the luggage during inspection. The official destroyed the sweet potatoes and the traveller had a $300 fine.
